Hello, my name is William, but people who know me call me Tre. I’m here because I’m passionate about helping people who want to create awesome CG (computer generated) pictures and movies overcome the endless YouTube watching and barely creating cycle we all fall into.
I know what it’s like to have a great idea for a spaceship, fantasy character, or website picture only to get discouraged by the time it takes to create it. You can get lost in an endless forest of Youtube tutorials and demonstrations.
I know how it feels when you don’t know where to start. Especially with such an intimidating program like Blender. There’s so much you can do, so many cool things you can learn. It’s like being a kid in a candy shop, except the line to get candy is always longer than you thought. You keep getting in a new line when you see another piece of candy that looks better. In the end, you end up with no candy.
Most of all, I know what it’s like to start an ambitious project with all the intentions of finishing it, and then guiltily letting it fade away into the back burner of life.
That’s why I’m here to help you. I want you to be the CG artist I know you can be. From this point on you should think of yourself as a CG artist.
I’m going to help you by:
- Providing a clear place to start your learning journey with Blender.
- Making sure you know what to learn that gets you creating awesome pictures that fastest.
- Giving you assignments and feedback to help you stay on track.
- Connecting you with other artists just like yourself so you never feel alone.
It wasn’t long ago that I had just learned about blender and got inspired to create whatever my mind could dream up. I was watching a video game TV channel called G4TV, (is that even still on) when someone from Blender was being interviewed about this free software for creating CG art.
I looked it up and I was never the same. I felt the freedom of knowing It’s possible to create anything you can imagine. Despite the fact that I couldn’t draw well, and didn’t have an artistic bone in my body I began my very scattered journey.
It hasn’t always been easy. Just learning the Blender interface took me some time. There are lots of shortcut keys, and finding things in the menus is not always straightforward. And that only covers Blender as a tool. There is still the artistic ability you need to create great art.
Now, while there is still a great deal I can learn, I know blender well enough to create almost anything I want. I’ve used it for work and impressed my boss so much they asked me to do more work with Blender.
Once you’re allowed to use Blender at work, you can improve even faster because you’ll have work-time you can spend learning and improving.
And now I want to help you become that great CG artist who can create almost anything they can imagine. The first step is easy. Sign up for my free email course by clicking the link below.
